Martin D. Cates

A tradition of Sound Advice

Martin is a native to Camden and has had a keen interest in the real estate business since an early age.  After working a career in manufacturing, in 1993 Martin became a licensed Agent. For the first nineteen years he held his license with Jaret & Cohn Real Estate.  He was most recently the Manager of the Rockland office. 

In February of 2012, Martin proudly fufilled his dream and opened the doors of Cates Real Estate. His office is located in the newly renovated Wadsworth building and once again, he is embedded in the community where his roots began.

Martin is the quintessential community advocate. Within the REALTOR organization, he has volunteered for numerous committees that sponsor professional development and networking, community betterment and fundraising for affordable housing and fuel assistance.  These efforts have earned Martin the award of the St. George River Council REALTOR of the Year in 2006.
